Our second live performance, recorded on February 4th, 2024 at Bar Orwell in Toronto as part of the Charcuterie Board 2 night of improvised music.

There are communicative absences between hardware and software, agitative lapses in signal between input and output, shocks and blips from point-A to point-B. Electronically we might refer to this as latency, or jitter, or delay. Spiritually, we might refer to a similar phenomenon as a kind of religious impulse, a chasm accounted for in rites and rituals. In the realm of the social, we might observe these gaps as the emergence of hermetic ugliness or ambiguous social atomization—a modus operandi in language of a world post-internet, post-truth, post-reality. If everyone is hallucinating, is anyone dreaming? Is the real thing in the rift between points?

Do you dream in colour? Are your dreams beautiful? Do you dream about the real thing? Can I listen to your dreams?
